It contains two sources of carbohydrates, dextrose (glucose in the form of glucose syrup) and sucrose, which provide 3 types of carbohydrates, as sucrose is the source of glucose and fructose. Carbohydrate intake has been shown to improve performance in sports (Cermak, NM et al., SM. 2013; Pochmuller, M. et al., JISSN. 2016). Furthermore, recent studies have shown that high carbohydrate intake during physical activity, especially for long periods of time (>2.5 hours), can improve neuromuscular function (Urdampilleta, A. et al.
