The Vanish Carbon 2 features a full-length carbon fiber plate and lightweight midsole foam for a soft feel and improved flexibility. It's ready to power through tough speed sessions and break personal records on race day.
We reduced weight by 32% by increasing the stack height from 33mm to 36mm and using Altra EGO PRO™ midsole foam to create a more performance design. This updated foam is softer and provides extra cushioning and response. An updated design of the full-length carbon fiber plate allows for a 14% increase in asymmetry for a more natural (and potentially faster) stride. This comprehensive improvement, coupled with additional flex grooves in the outsole, gives you a 75% increase in flexibility.
Equipped with Altra's unique FootShape fit design, you have a spacious toe box, free toe movement, a snug midfoot, and zero drop, allowing you to move in a natural way. Take to the starting line with confidence and style, these technical race shoes are ready to go.
