Description

One of Umara's guiding principles is "enhancing athletic performance," and the pursuit of excellence has always been our top priority. In recent years, scientific research has shown a significant correlation between beetroot juice (whose active ingredient is nitrate) and improved athletic performance. Therefore, we are very proud to launch our independently developed U Nitrate—a concentrated beetroot drink.

U Nitrate is a concentrated beetroot drink, with each bottle containing 500 mg of nitrate (8 mmol). We chose to increase the nitrate content in U Nitrate from the common market standard of 400 mg to 500 mg (+25%). The reason is simple: for most athletes, just one bottle is enough to achieve the vasodilatory effects observed in studies.

If your maximum oxygen uptake (VO2max) is 60 ml/kg/min or less, a dose of 500 mg (8 mmol) will achieve ideal results. If your oxygen uptake is higher, you will need two bottles or to use a buffer.

Usage: Drink 1-2 bottles of U Nitrate 2.5 hours before exercise. Do not spit during the period from consumption to the start of exercise, as this will interrupt its vasodilatory effect.

Q&A:

What is the mechanism of action of U Nitrate?  The nitrates in U Nitrate come from beetroot extract and are converted through a series of steps into nitric oxide (NO), an active substance that dilates blood vessels. This reduces vascular resistance, promotes blood circulation, and optimizes oxygen delivery to muscles.

Do I need to preload with U Nitrate?  If your oxygen uptake is higher than 60 ml/kg/min, we recommend taking 2 doses 2.5 hours before exercise. If you want to ensure optimal results, you can also preload with U Nitrate by taking 1 dose daily for 4-7 days before the competition. If you have already preloaded, then 1 dose 2.5 hours before the start of the competition is sufficient, regardless of oxygen uptake.
