BXTR Metal pays homage to Baxter Street, Los Angeles' iconic skateboarding landmark—a symbol of the fusion of authenticity and style, much like the design spirit of this frame. These over-ear sunglasses, created in collaboration with the Oakley® design team and brand ambassadors, reinterpret the combination of lifestyle and performance aesthetics. The temples feature a modern Trigger Stem design inspired by Oakley's classic Razor Blade sunglasses, while the metal details pay tribute to the brand's first sunglasses prototype—the legendary Eyeshade, composed of ski goggle lenses and a metal hanger. The frame is crafted from plant-based BiO-Matter® material, lightweight yet durable, providing all-day comfort; Unobtainium® nose pads maintain a non-slip grip even when wet, ensuring a secure fit.

BiO-Matter® is made from bio-based materials containing at least 56% biocarbon derived from castor oil (based on the ratio of biological to fossil raw materials).
