BXTR Metal pays homage to Baxter Street, Los Angeles' iconic skatepark known for its style and authenticity, just like the frames themselves. These shield-shaped sunglasses were created in close collaboration between Oakley®'s design team and brand friends, aiming to offer a unique new interpretation of lifestyle eyewear. BXTR Metal features modernized trigger temples inspired by Oakley's classic Razor Blade sunglasses. The frame is enhanced with metallic details, paying tribute to the prototype of Oakley's first sunglasses—originally crafted with snow goggle lenses and a metal hanger. The BiO-Matter®* plant-based frame provides all-day comfort and lightweight durability, while the Unobtainium® nose pad enhances grip and stability.
