Hoya UX UV

The UX UV filter has a new water droplet-resistant protective coating and is a redesign of the HMC UV(C) filter. It has now been integrated into the new entry-level UX series and launched together with the CIR-PL Slim filter. UX UC filter is a product designed with a new concept, targeting entry-level users, providing high-quality standards and basic contemporary functions.

The "UX" in the series name stands for "User eXperience" and refers to the experience users get when using these filters and everything related to them. By naming this series UX, we aim to provide users with a better personal experience through all activities related to photography.

Although invisible to the naked eye, UV rays can affect images taken in environments such as the seaside or mountains, causing blurry outlines or washed-out and whitish images.

UV filters suppress the UV spectrum in sunlight that primarily causes poor image effects. This filter can be used with film and digital cameras to ensure sharper images. Additionally, by keeping it mounted at all times, this filter can serve as daily lens protection.
