Recently, the store manager has received a lot of questions from friends who are eligible to sign up for the 2023 UTMB® point. This time, I will share with you the registration process and qualifications for the 2023 UTMB® Tour of Mont Blanc Supercross .

Official pre-registration for the UTMB®, CCC® and OCC categories for the 2023 UTMB® Tour of Mont Blanc Supercross & Inaugural World Series Finals officially opened on June 14, 2022. Runners will have over six months to register and qualify for the inaugural UTMB® World Series Finals .

From August 28 to September 3, 2023, the ultimate trail running event, the UTMB® World Series Finals, will welcome more than 10,000 runners from around the world in Chamonix, France. They will start from Chamonix in the heart of the Alps and experience an extraordinary trail running event across the borders of France, Italy and Switzerland.

From 2023, the UTMB® World Series Finals will consist of three categories: UTMB® (170km), CCC® (100km) and OCC (50km). The result of the draw for the finals will be determined by the players' running stone points and their accumulated UTMB Index (UTMB Index).

Runners can pre-register for the draw by December 31, 2022 and compete in this year's UTMB® World Series events across Asia, Oceania, Europe and the Americas to gain entry to the Grand Finals. Competitors can check the requirements for the off-road events they want to compete in their new My UTMB account by logging into the official UTMB.World website.

June 14, 2022: Pre-registration officially begins. Players need to register a My UTMB account on the UTMB website. Pre-registration for the Grand Finals is free and no up-front payment required. No running stones or UTMB indices are required for pre-registration. However, before the pre-registration deadline, players need to meet the eligibility requirements for the corresponding category. Pre-registration will close on December 31, 2022, and announcement of the results of the finals draw will begin on January 10, 2023.

Running Rock is your ticket to the UTMB®, CCC® and OCC draws for the UTMB® World Series Finals. Competitors are awarded by completing UTMB® World Series Qualifiers or 20K, 50K, 100K or 100 Miles in the Grand Slam.

Runners only need to have a running stone in the past two years to qualify for the lottery. But with each additional stone, runners can increase their odds of winning the lottery. The 2022 UTMB® World Series total schedule is listed on the UTMB® official website. Runners can participate in any of these events to accumulate running stones to increase their chances of winning the lottery for the 2023 UTMB® Mont Blanc Supercross.

The UTMB Index is an index used to measure individual performance of trail runners in the UTMB® World Series 20K, 50K, 100K and 100 Mile events. Obtaining a valid UTMB index is a requirement to participate in the UTMB® Tour of Mont Blanc final draw. Competitors can earn a valid UTMB index by completing at least one UTMB® World Series in the past 24 months. Players can check their own and other players' UTMB index through the official website.

Elite runners must have competed in a UTMB® World Series qualifying or major in the past 15 months. This ensures and optimizes the season schedule and recovery period for elite runners. The top 10 male and female athletes to complete the UTMB® World Series Grand Slam and the top three male and female athletes in the UTMB® World Series Qualifying 50K, 100K and 100 Mile categories will automatically Qualify in the appropriate category for the UTMB® World Series Finals.

The easiest way for Hong Kong runners is to take part in the TransLantau™ by UTMB® flight on Lantau Island in November to get running stones to increase their chances of participating in the 2023 UTMB® Mont Blanc Supercross .

Registration for PTL®, TDS®, MCC, YCC and ETC in other categories of the 2023 UTMB® Tour of Mont Blanc Supercross will officially open in January next year.
