Saucony Unisex's Tempus 3 HK Edition Road Ruuning Shoes

Saucony proudly presents the TEMPUS 3 HK "Hong Kong City Special Edition." The project, themed "Runners Tell Stories," was 100% led by Saucony's Hong Kong runner team in concept development, photography, and image design. This marks the first time the brand has invited a local runner team to personally tell their stories, conveying the city's rhythm and free pace through the daily routes and perspectives of real runners.

Inspired by "Hong Kong Underfoot," the story draws inspiration from the real-life routes of local runners—starting from the narrow alleys of Central and Sheung Wan in the early morning, passing through familiar streetlights and neon lights; then embarking on a ferry crossing, gazing at the sunrise over Victoria Harbour; and finally concluding with a cup of coffee at the Tsim Sha Tsui pier. This route is a rhythm and sentiment familiar to many local runners.

The TEMPUS 3 HK "Hong Kong City Special Edition" draws inspiration from Hong Kong's iconic ferry culture. The shoe features a deep green and pure white color scheme, replicating the classic boat colorway. The interplay of green and white evokes the dynamic silhouette of ferries navigating Victoria Harbour, conveying Hong Kong's unique blend of ferry culture and urban charm. Every design element reflects the daily life of Hong Kong runners.

• Shoe design: White on top and green on the bottom, with gold accents on the heel. The sole features a striking red and green color scheme, exuding Hong Kong vibrancy. Near the heel on the inside, the word "Hong Kong" and a star pattern are printed on the left and right shoes respectively; the word "Upper Layer" is printed on the outside, cleverly echoing the upper and lower deck structure of a double-decker ferry.
  
• The side lines and heel details are inspired by the flowing lines of a ship cutting through the waves, symbolizing the rhythm of runners moving through the city.
  
• Insoles and linings: Combining star and wood grain patterns, the shoes recreate the texture of a ship's cabin floor and wooden seats, hiding classic scenes under your feet and making every step feel like you are on a ferry; the lining is also printed with star patterns, with details full of urban flair.
  
• Special edition heel straps: The left and right heels are printed with details symbolizing Hong Kong, namely "H" and "K"; they are also printed with the words "Caution when crossing the springboard" in both Chinese and English, paying homage to the classic cross-harbour transportation.
  
• Shoe box design: The main color scheme is green and white, consistent with the shoe design; one side is printed with design details of "Octopus card direct entry" and "token vending machine", which cleverly creates a unique Hong Kong atmosphere. The three round holes on the box are inspired by the shape of the portholes on the hull, and together with the wooden seat-textured inner box and star-patterned wrapping paper, it brings a tangible Hong Kong feeling the moment you open the box.
