BXTR Metal pays homage to Baxter Street, a classic Los Angeles skateboarding landmark representing the fusion of authenticity and style—a spirit that defines this frame design. These shield-style sunglasses, created in collaboration with the Oakley® design team and brand friends, offer a fresh interpretation of lifestyle eyewear. Their modern Trigger Stem temples are inspired by Oakley's classic Razor Blade, while the metal frame reinforces the structure, paying tribute to the brand's first prototype sunglasses—the Eyeshade, a combination of ski goggle lenses and a metal hanger. The frame is crafted from plant-based BiO-Matter® material, offering all-day comfort and lightweight durability, while the Unobtainium® nose pads remain secure and slip-resistant even when wet.

BiO-Matter® is made from biomaterials containing at least 56% bio-based carbon derived from castor oil (in terms of the ratio of biological to fossil raw materials).
