BXTR Metal pays homage to Baxter Street, Los Angeles' iconic skateboarding mecca—a fusion of authenticity and style, much like the spirit embodied in these frames. Developed in close collaboration between the Oakley® design team and brand ambassadors, these overlay sunglasses redefine the look of lifestyle eyewear. Featuring modern Trigger Stem temples inspired by Oakley's classic Razor Blade, the BXTR Metal's metal construction pays tribute to the brand's first sunglasses prototype—the Eyeshade, a combination of ski goggle lenses and a metal hanger. The frame is crafted from plant-based BiO-Matter® for all-day comfort, lightweight durability, and features Unobtainium® nose pads for a secure, slip-resistant fit, even in wet conditions.

BiO-Matter® is made from bio-based materials containing at least 56% biocarbon derived from castor oil (based on the ratio of biological to fossil raw materials).
