BXTR Metal pays homage to Baxter Street, Los Angeles' iconic skateboarding landmark—a symbol of style and authenticity, much like the spirit behind these sunglasses. Created in collaboration with Oakley®'s design team and brand ambassadors, these shield-shaped sunglasses offer a fresh interpretation of lifestyle eyewear.
The BXTR Metal features a modern, trigger-style metal temple design inspired by Oakley's classic Razor Blade. The frame material has been upgraded to metal, paying homage to Oakley's first sunglasses prototype—the Eyeshade, made from ski goggle lenses and a wire hanger. The frame is made from plant-based BiO-Matter®* material, providing a lightweight and durable all-day comfortable fit, while the Unobtainium® anti-slip nose pad offers a secure grip even when wet.

BiO-Matter contains at least 56% bio-based carbon (the ratio of castor oil to fossil fuels).
