Topo Men's MT 5 Trail running shoes (Black / Charcoal)

Topo Athletic's MT 5 trail running shoes are known for their signature spacious toe box, which allows the forefoot and toes to stretch naturally, meeting the ergonomic needs of running and hiking. This shoe is certified by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) to help promote healthy feet.

The middle and rear foot of the shoe adopts a highly covering design to ensure the stability of the heel on uneven terrain and avoid black toes or blisters caused by too loose shoes.

The MT series are Topo Athletic's multi-purpose running shoes that can be used for trail running and road running, and are designed to help runners easily transition to trail running. This is an entry-level trail running shoe.

The fifth-generation MT 5, launched in 2024, features a new upper, midsole and outsole design. Compared with the previous generation, the midsole has increased thickness, but due to the new ZipFoam™ v2 material technology, the shoes are actually lighter. The outsole is replaced with Vibram® XS Trek EVO material that has received good reviews on Ultraventure 3.

• The outsole is made of Vibram® XS Trek EVO material with higher wear resistance, which is light and flexible and suitable for light to moderate terrain, while maintaining Topo's unique fit and feel.
  
  
• The depth of the tooth marks on the outsole is 5mm, and the edges of the tooth marks are flat and inclined, which can provide better grip on hard ground.
  
  
• The improved ZipFoam™ v2 midsole material uses a double-layer structure of different densities to achieve a balance of cushioning and elasticity between field running and road running.
  
  
• The heel is made of vertical TPU material, which can enhance the support and stability of the heel.
  
  
• The upper uses a thinner, lighter, faster-drying fabric and is reinforced internally for increased durability.
  
  
• The shoe's 5mm drop improves natural running posture and calf muscle use for proper forward power balance.
  
  
• The insole uses high-performance OrthoLite® antibacterial insole to provide comfort and odor control.
  
  
• The tongue and heel are equipped with hook holes for easy putting on and taking off the original off-road short gaiters, which effectively prevents foreign objects from entering the shoe.
